I had a uniquely fun experience the other day at our wonderful Eastman community.
When I volunteered to be a model for a fundraiser for the Grantham Community Crisis Fund, I did it to help out the community and those who are in need. I never thought I will have such a great time!
Being a model brought back memories of when I was younger (and slimmer) and had done modeling for charity organizations. Now I am in my mid-sixties, and the modeling was an ego booster because we were all well received and given many compliments afterward by the audience. The clothing from local merchants was tailored to my more mature figure. My adult children were very proud of me.
I also met some great new people, so it was a wonderful way to build relationships and get to know my neighbors. If anyone is looking to help out a good cause and gain some confidence, this is the thing to do. Since I love clothes and the clothes I modeled were very stylish and beautiful, it was an
I like getting dressed up and wearing beautiful and classy clothes while doing some good and making new friends along the way. What an ideal way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I look forward to the next event in the fall.
