Let’s face it: it’s intimidating to watch professional golfers play. They make it look so easy. But at one time they were beginners. So how do you learn to play?
Eastman Golf Links is one of only two courses in New Hampshire to offer the PGA-sponsored, 5-lesson Get Golf Ready program for people who have never played or haven’t swung a club in a while. Beginning at $109 for all five lessons, Get Golf Ready is designed to teach you everything you'll need to play golf.
PGA Professional Mark Larrabee and Assistant Pro Kevin Wright will show you that there are lots of ways to play by combining fun, friends and fitness. Each session will focus on the various golf skills you will use while playing. In addition to learning the basics, you will be guided onto the golf course to put your skills into action in a casual, friendly setting. All you need to bring are yourself, a desire to have fun and perhaps a few friends to enjoy the great outdoors. Golf clubs, balls and other equipment will be provided for your use.
In addition to this amazing program, Eastman Golf Links offers a great junior program as well as private or semi-private lessons.
Since practice is the key to improvement, our driving range, like the golf course, is open to the public, as is the practice bunker adjacent to the range and the putting green near the first hole. Not only that, but EGL is actually three courses in one: a championship course, a hybrid course and a PGA Family Course, offering play for every level of golfer.
Remember: Everyone who will play in the U.S. Open this August was a beginner at one time. What’s stopping you from learning?
