This event, which benefits the Upper Valley Humane Society, will be held Saturday, June 21. Both the adult and children’s races always sell out! Register now on-line.
A pre-race meeting will be held at 7:45 a.m., with the adult race starting at 8 a.m. The Kids’ Race (ages 15 and younger) will follow at 10 a.m.
The USA Triathlon-sanctioned event for adults is open to competitors age 15 and older. This race includes a 1/3-mile freshwater swim in Eastman Lake, a 12-mile bike ride through scenic Eastman and NH Route 10, and a 5K run along the west shoreline of Eastman Lake. The adult race is designed for both individuals and teams of two or three.
The field is limited to 200 and advance registration is strongly recommended. Pre-registration entry fee for individuals is $80 and for teams is $140. Racers who are not USAT members will be charged a $12 fee for a one-day membership to the USAT. On-site registration begins at 6:30 a.m.
The Kids’ Race is also structured for individuals or teams. The course includes a 200-yard fresh water swim in Eastman Lake, a 2-mile bike ride on Road ‘Round Lake, and a 1-mile run on Clearwater Drive. The pre-registration entry fee for the Kids’ Race is $30/individual and $60/team. Racers who are not USAT members will be charged a $10 fee for a one-day membership to the USAT. All racers will be rewarded a finishers medal.
A Post Race Bash at the South Cove Activity Center will give all participants a chance to relax and refuel. Awards will be given during this time to the top three men and women in each age category, and the top three finishers of the team competitions.
In case of inclement weather Eastman reserves the right to postpone or cancel the race and/or re-route the course if necessary. Refunds will not be given, as the costs for the race have already been incurred.
