I'm the father of two boys, aged nine and eleven, and we have a blast in the winter at Mount Sunapee and Eastman. Door to door, our home at Eastman is 20 minutes to Mount Sunapee. There are often surprises on the lake: such as seeing an eagle swoop down to grab a fish a fisherman left on the ice. It is so peaceful on the lake in the winter. There are no snowmobiles at Eastman and we appreciate it. Sometimes the lake is frozen with no snow on it and the kids can skate around the whole lake – they have yet to make it that
