Why do we choose to live in Eastman? The nearest full-size grocery store is at least 20 minutes away. The nearest shopping centerFish August 1, 2015 is at least 30 minutes away. Evening Ski & Snowshoe

Come and enjoy a casual ski or snowshoe along beginner trails and then enjoy  dinner.  All levels of experience are welcome.  Ski or snowshoe will start at 6 pm.  Menu to feature herb-roasted chicken; vegetarian/vegan option available with advance notice. Please arrive early if you need to rent equipment.  Reservations are required and can be made until Friday, January 2.  Dinner will be held regardless of snow conditions.  $19/person

Glow Stick Ski & Snowshoe

Meet at the South Cove Activity Center, pick up your glow sticks and depending on the snow conditions ski/snowshoe out to the yurt in John’s Glen.  Warm up in the yurt and make a tasty s’more before heading back.  Glow sticks will be supplied.   Call the Eastman Recreation Department (603) 863-6772 to reserve your spot or email recreation@eastmannh.org.  $5/person
