Get outside for health and beauty
There’s no snow on the ground yet, but Eastman Cross Country Center opens Saturday, Dec. 4 in anticipation of a great season of snow and healthy exercise, not to mention the beautiful scenery that can only be found on wooded trails.
The Eastman Cross Country Center complex always welcomes the public to our 36K of Nordic ski and snowshoe trails (beginner to expert, both groomed and not), groomed sledding hill and lighted skating pond. In addition to season passes (available until Saturday at 10% off!), trail fees can be purchased by the day or half day for both adults and students. Group clinics and individual lessons are available to help make your experience the best it can be.
Don’t have snowshoes or cross country skis? No problem. We rent them so you can try the sport to see if you like it before making an investment. If you do have your own equipment, bring it in for a tune-up before the season begins. If you want to buy some, take a look at what our ski shop has to offer.
Upcoming events at Eastman Cross County Center include a women’s ski clinic on Jan. 8, Nordic Nibbles on Jan. 16, and the Winter Fest and Chili Cook-off to benefit David’s House on Feb. 19. Look for more information on these events as the dates get closer.
Let’s hope for lots of snow so you can come spend some time at Eastman Cross Country Center (just off I-89 Exit 13 in Grantham). Get trail conditions on-line or call 863-4500. For more information, visit our website.
