Music, Dinner Specials and Trivia at Bistro

November’s highlights for Bistro Nouveau at The Center at Eastman include live music with Jason Cann on Nov. 5, two for $38 dinner specials each Wednesday and Bistro Brain Busters on Nov. 20. Bistro is always open to the public so you won’t miss a minute of the good food or fun.

Jason Cann is one of the most popular acoustical musicians in the Upper Valley. He visits Bistro Nouveau the first Friday of every month, filling the tavern with great music from 6 to 9 p.m. Make reservations in advance to ensure a table because Jason draws a crowd every time.

Interested in fine dining at fine prices? Visit Bistro any Wednesday and get two dinners for $38. The menu changes weekly, but dinner always includes two salads, two entrees and two glasses of wine or beer. As an added benefit on November 10, come for dinner early and stay for the free performance of The Honeymooners, a acousitcal quartet of two married couples from the Upper Valley, beginning at 7:30 p.m. It’s sure to be a fun night of barbershop, doo-wop, and gospel.

Bistro Brain Busters pits teams of 2 to 6 players against each other for prizes and bragging rights. Sometimes a dozen teams compete in this audience-participation-style program. Bistro Brain Busters is free, and the Bistro’s pub menu and cash bar are available all evening long. The game begin at 7 p.m. sharp, so arrive early to get a drink and get your thinking cap on.
